This location promises a lively and colorful atmosphere that reflects the essence of California-style Mexican cuisine. With a commitment to freshness, Baja Fresh serves up an array of flavorful dishes that are sure to tantalize your taste buds.
The menu showcases a variety of burritos such as the Baja Burrito, where you can indulge in your choice of protein, paired with cheese, pico de gallo, and a generous dollop of guacamole. For those seeking something heartier, the Burrito Ultimo features roasted vegetables alongside your protein choice, all enveloped in the comforting embrace of Baja rice, sour cream, and salsa baja. Each dish is customizable, allowing you to choose between black or pinto beans, hot or mild salsa, and fresh toppings.
In addition to their enticing burritos, Baja Fresh offers crowd-pleasing family meals designed to satisfy everyone at the table. The Family Pack serves up to five and comes with a selection of entrees along with classic sides like chips and two types of signature salsas. It’s perfect for gatherings or simply sharing the joy of food with loved ones.
Customer experiences at Baja Fresh are a mixed bag, with many praising the freshness of the ingredients. One enthusiastic patron, Ricardo Mendoza, particularly enjoyed a burrito combining both steak and shrimp, noting the generous serving size and freshness of the ingredients—a hallmark of this establishment. However, not all feedback has been as glowing. Some patrons have pointed out inconsistencies, such as an excessive amount of rice in their burritos, leading to a less-than-satisfactory experience in terms of protein-to-fill ratio.
Despite this, customers agree on one thing: the ambiance is inviting, and staff members are friendly, contributing to a delightful dining experience. Options for sides like the Trio Salsa and Pronto Guacamole are a great complement to any meal, providing a touch of fresh flavor.
In summary, Baja Fresh - San Bernardino offers a vibrant take on fast-casual Mexican dining. While there are minor areas for improvement, the overall emphasis on fresh ingredients and customizable options makes it a worthwhile stop for those craving a taste of Californian-style Mexican fare.
“ Food is decent. Definitely "Americanized" styled Mexican food trying to pass off as authentic Mexican food. It's good food, don't get me wrong, but it's not authentic Mexican food. The lady at the counter who took my order was a bit annoying though talking gossip with other staff behind the counter not really paying attention to me or other patrons taking our order though. ”
“ Super fresh, super good, super satisfied ; I got a burrito with both steak and shrimp and they were very generous with the serving, I can tell eveything is fresh too; not your avarage steak burrito. ”
“ I had Burrito Ultimo with chicken. It came with too much rice and some of the rice pieces were hard. There was not enough chicken. It also had roasted veggies and were mostly on top in first bite and not throughout the burrito. The pico de Gallo is good! The cashier is friendly. ”
“ Friendly manager, great food, and excellent salsa. Today I ordered a wet bean and cheese burrito & added grilled veggies. I love how they throw some chips in with the enchilada sauce on the side. So good! ”
“ Friendly cash register girl. Wide variety of food on the menu. Fresh food, with numerous self serve salsas to choose from. Bright, cherry ambiance. ”
“ After having a bad experience today, coming here was a breath of fresh air!!! My cashier Emely was the sweetest person ever! And the manager was so kind and informative to a customer who asked about their salsa bar. The atmosphere in here is calm I love the food too... Their shrimp on the chili lime salad was served warm and the sauce for it is so good. I also got a kids bean burrito and it was so simple but so good. Coming here was so wholesome. ”
“ Lunchtime. I ordered the Shrimp Burrito. They come in different styles, do not get Mexican style! That means it comes with rice and beans (choice of pinto or black) I chose pinto beans. Well the burrito was more rice than anything. There were a few shrimp thrown in. The pinto beans were crunchy. I was disappointed. Chips and salsa were included. The place is clean and counter staff were nice enough. I'll go back but I'll try something else for sure. ”
